Co-Founder at Weaver Labs Ltd

Maria Lema has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Maria co-founded Weaver Labs Ltd in 2018 and holds the position of Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked at King's College London from 2015, where they held the role of Technical Lead Project Manager and Research Associate. As a Research Associate, they led the 5G Tactile Internet project funded by Ericsson and collaborated with industry partners. Maria also presented results, analyzed data, and made research proposals. Before that, they worked as a Research Engineer at Wireless Communications and Technologies (WiComTec) from 2010 to 2015. Maria started their career with an internship in mobile communications research at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2009 to 2010.

Maria Lema attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications systems. Maria continued their education at the same institution from 2009 to 2010, completing a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering and Management. Maria then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wireless Communications at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2015.
