John McDermott

John McDermott has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John most recently worked at Weavix as the Chief Financial Officer starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at B+T Group from January 2020 to January 2023. From March 2006 to January 2020, McDermott served as the Chief Financial Officer at Zeeco, Inc. Before that, they worked as a Senior Manager at Sartain Fischbein + Co from 2001 to 2006 and as a Board Member at Gatesway Foundation from 2000 to 2006. Their earlier roles include being the VP of Finance - Specialty Medical at Staffmark from January 1998 to March 2001 and working as an Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand from 1991 to 1997.

John McDermott attended The University of Auckland from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting.
