Iggy Fenech has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Iggy started their career as an EFL Teacher at Elanguest English Language School from 2008 to 2013. Iggy then worked as a Blogger for iggyfenech.com, where they created and ran their own culture and lifestyle blog. In this role, they successfully organized a viral campaign in support of marriage between same-sex couples.
From 2013 to 2018, Iggy worked at WriteMeAnything.com as a PR Consultant, Content Writer, and Social Media Manager. Iggy started as a content writer and executive, working on SEO-enabled content for websites, scripts for radio, advertorials, and blogs. Iggy also took on the role of a social media manager for various lifestyle brands. Additionally, they helped expand the company's PR department into one of Malta's foremost cultural PR agencies.
From 2013 to 2018, Iggy served as an Editorial Assistant for Style on Sunday Magazine. Iggy'sresponsibilities included assisting with magazine content and operations.
In 2018, Iggy became self-employed as a Freelance Writer. Iggy has written for numerous magazines and newspapers in Malta, including The Times of Malta, TimeOut Malta, Style on Sunday, and The Malta Independent, among others. Iggy'swork includes PR consultation for cultural events and high-end lifestyle brands, social media management, and content writing for websites, blogs, and brochures.
In 2019, Iggy joined Newsbook.com.mt as a Blogger, where they contributed content to the website.
From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Assistant Editor and later as an Editor at Sunday Circle Magazine. Iggy was responsible for editing and curating the lifestyle magazine, managing deadlines, conducting interviews, and overseeing the overall workings of the magazine.
