Brendan Garrett

Brendan Garrett is currently the Speaker Director at Web Summit and previously worked as a teacher at De La Salle College Churchtown and Our Lady's School Terenure. Prior to that, Brendan served as a Reporter at deBanked and a Podcast Co-Host at Take Two. Brendan also gained experience as a Project Assistant at Deanta Global, a Publishing Intern at New Island Books, and Managing Editor at ROPES Literary Journal. Brendan started their career as Front of House Staff at Boojum and as a Furniture Mover at Broadway Moving Ltd. Brendan holds a Master of Arts in Literature and Publishing from the University of Galway and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from University College Dublin.
