Alfonso Cevallos

Alfonso Cevallos is a highly skilled Blockchain Researcher at Web3 Foundation since January 2019, focusing on the development of foundational technologies and optimization for decentralized networks. Previously, Alfonso held the position of Data Research Analyst, enhancing software skills for data handling, analysis, and visualization. As a Senior Researcher at ETH Zurich, Alfonso contributed to the advancement of NP-hard problem studies, while also developing efficient algorithms for large data sets during tenure at EPFL. Academic experience includes lecturing on calculus and linear algebra at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Alfonso holds a PhD in Mathematics from EPFL, along with multiple advanced and undergraduate degrees in Mathematics from Leiden University, Université de Bordeaux, and Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
