Lucas Amorim

Lucas Amorim is a seasoned security engineer with extensive experience in Web3, machine learning, and AI. Currently serving as a Staff Security Engineer at Webacy since May 2025, Lucas focuses on developing advanced detection systems to combat fraud and emerging threats. Prior to Webacy, Lucas was the Applied Research Lead Engineer at Trugard, where static analysis detectors were designed for Solidity and EVM bytecode, optimizing ML data pipelines for real-time threat detection. Additional roles include Staff Software Engineer at Border0, Senior Security Researcher at Palo Alto Networks, and Application Security Lead Engineer at SeatGeek, among others. Lucas holds a BSc in Information Systems from Instituto de Educação Superior da Paraiba.
