Dr. Michael J. Bauer

Dr. Michael J. Bauer currently serves as the Head of Turnaround Program and VP Corporate Performance at Webasto Group since November 2022, having also held the position of EVP Charging Systems within the same company. Prior to this, Dr. Bauer was the Vice President of Business Line Energy Management at Webasto Group Customized Solutions from November 2018 to November 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Product & Portfolio Management and Director of Global Costing & VA/VE at Webasto Group from January 2014 to October 2018, as well as roles at Management Consulting Group GmbH, TCW Management Consulting GmbH & Co.KG, and Technische Universität München, where Dr. Bauer completed a doctorate in Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Dr. Bauer's educational background also includes studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences.
