Michael Friedrich

Michael Friedrich currently serves as the Vice President of Communications, Marketing & Brand at Webasto Group since July 2025. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions including Director at Kekst CNC from March 2022 to July 2025 and Interim Head of Communications at INNIO Group from October 2023 to March 2025. Michael’s extensive experience in communications began at Siemens, where tenure spanned from January 2010 to March 2022, covering multiple leadership roles, including Head of Executive Positioning and Head of Office of Corporate Communications. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Redakteur at dpa Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH and dpa-AFX, focusing on automotive, aviation, and technology sectors. Michael completed a Master of Arts in History from LMU and participated in a Volontariat program at Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
