Doug Garrison is an experienced Communication Arts educator with a career spanning over two decades in various school districts. Since May 2016, Garrison has been teaching at Webb City R7 School District, specializing in Communication Arts II, Honors Communication Arts II, and Mythology, while also sponsoring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Prior to this role, Garrison taught at Carthage R-9 School District for over a decade, focusing on eighth-grade Communication Arts and other related subjects, and held various coaching and advisory positions. Garrison’s earlier experience includes teaching eighth and tenth-grade English at Columbus USD493 School District and serving in coaching roles, as well as teaching ninth and tenth-grade English at East Newton High School. Garrison's educational background includes a Master’s in Education from Missouri State University, a Bachelor’s in Education from Missouri Southern State University, and an Associate degree in Bible and Secondary Education from Ozark Christian College.
