Oscar Hesketh-Mare Ca (SA)

Oscar Hesketh-Mare has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Oscar started their career as CFO Special Projects at Super Group in 2006 and later became a Finance Manager at the same company. Oscar then moved on to work as a Finance Manager at Blue Label Telecoms and Amerit Fleet Solutions. In 2011, they became a Finance Manager at South African Breweries before joining Electromechanica as the General Manager & Group Financial Manager. Later, they worked as a Finance Manager at Traffic Freeflow and Senior Manager of New Business & Corporate Finance at Universal Healthcare. In 2016, they founded and owned Unified Power Projects Africa. Oscar then served as Head of Finance at Hiway before currently serving in the same role at WEBB Traders.

Oscar Hesketh-Mare CA(SA) completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1994, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Oscar then pursued a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Chartered Accountant (SA) from the same university, studying from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, Oscar has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Oscar became a Certified Public Accountant through SAICA CA(SA) in March 1999. Recently, they have completed various courses and obtained certifications in different areas such as IFRS, Dutch language, professional networking, corporate strategy, critical thinking, AI implementation, and cryptocurrencies.
