Jenafer Garcia

Jenafer Garcia is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Webber International University since January 2023, focusing on bachelor's level coursework for nursing students. Prior to this role, Jenafer served as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at Navarro Medical from January 2022 to December 2023, overseeing the student health center in collaboration with the university. Jenafer's extensive nursing experience includes positions as an ARNP at SONI Family Practice PLLC, specializing in family practice from May 2019 to December 2021, and as an ER ARNP with TeamHealth from October 2015 to May 2019, leading as part-time since. Additional roles include a clinical instructor at Polk State College for nursing students in ER and ICU settings, and various ARNP positions at UF Health and First Care. Jenafer began the nursing career as an Emergency Room RN at Winter Haven Hospital, accumulating over nine years of bedside experience.
