Derek Wong P.e.

Derek Wong, P.E. is a seasoned Project Director with Webcor since July 2012, where responsibilities have included managing large construction teams, coordinating complex project schedules, and overseeing financial reports. Derek possesses extensive experience in structural concrete projects, particularly with large-scale formwork and shoring systems from industry leaders such as PERI and Doka. Prior roles include Project Engineer, where coordination of concrete pours and shop drawing accuracy were key tasks, and internships at BART, URS Corporation, and the California Public Utilities Commission, providing a well-rounded foundation in civil and structural engineering. Derek holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
