Rafael Mascayano O'Ryan

Rafael Mascayano O'Ryan has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Rafael began their career in 2006 at Imatec as Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, where they were responsible for commercial support, analysis, design, and management of software development projects. In 2008, they joined IEEE as GOLD Chair at Chile Section and Student Representative at Chile Section. In 2013, they co-founded Manglar Labs. From 2015 to 2019, they were Jefe del departamento de tecnologías de la información y comunicaciones at Servicio de Salud Metropolitano Central, where they were responsible for re-structuring, defining processes, and professionalizing the support units, as well as developing projects and managing the data center. During this time, they were also Systems Operation Manager at Agrosat Internacional, where they were responsible for coordinating the technology department, developing technical/commercial proposals, and developing new products. In 2019, they joined Imed as Scrum Master, where they were part of the national team in charge of Cuenta Médica, a system that allows for the validation of beneficiaries in relation to different financiers and the valuation of services provided in closed attention. Rafael was also a member of the regional and telemedicine team as Scrum Master for the development of MPI and a portal dedicated to patients. In 2020, they became Cofounder and encargado de plataforma at ContigoSalud. Currently, they are Scrum Master & Agile Coach at Webdox CLM.

Rafael Mascayano O'Ryan obtained their degree in Ingeniería Civil in Informática from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria between 2002 and 2009.
