Ozgur Zan, PhD.

Ozgur Zan, PhD has a diverse work experience, working in various roles and companies. Ozgur started their career in 1999 as a Co-founder, CEO, and board member of Done, the first mobile software company in Turkey. During their tenure, they helped grow the company and received numerous awards from global companies. Ozgur also played a key role in the strategic management and investment decisions of the company. In 2010, Ozgur joined Kadir Has University as a part-time instructor, teaching web/mobile usability and user experience courses. Ozgur also served as a co-instructor for user experience seminar programs. In 2016, they joined IPERA SOLUTIONS as the Chief Business Consultant. Ozgur contributed to the company's business strategy until 2019. Currently, Ozgur is the Chief Executive Officer of WeBee, a position they have held since 2017.

Ozgur Zan, PhD, has a rich education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. Ozgur began their education journey at Kadiköy Anadolu Lisesi from 1987 to 1994, where they focused on mathematics. Following this, they attended Boğaziçi University from 1994 to 1999, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

Ozgur then pursued their MBA at Yeditepe University from 1999 to 2002, gaining expertise in Organization and Management. Subsequently, they returned to Yeditepe University and devoted the years 2002 to 2008 to complete a PhD in the same field.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ozgur Zan obtained a certification in Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from edX in December 2020. This certification demonstrates their commitment to staying updated and exploring new opportunities in this dynamic field of study.
