Deputy Sheriff Part Time at Weber County Sheriff's Office

Mark Lowther is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades, beginning with the Weber County Sheriff's Office in 1989. Currently serving as a Law Enforcement Officer and part-time Deputy Sheriff, Mark has also held the position of Lieutenant and Hostage Negotiator. In addition to law enforcement, Mark is the President of Talk to Me Crisis Communications LLC, specializing in crisis negotiation training and conflict resolution for various organizations. Mark has contributed as a Reserve Police Officer with the Ogden City Police Department and a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line, and recently served as a Wellness Coach with First Responders First. With a strong educational background in crisis intervention and psychological first aid, Mark has trained numerous law enforcement officers across the country, including major city departments and military personnel, in hostage negotiation and crisis management.
