Michele Kersey-Smith

Michele Kersey-Smith is an experienced educator currently serving as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for Weber School District since August 2018, where responsibilities include leading curriculum development and creating district assessments. Kersey-Smith has also been an Online Teacher at Northridge Learning Center since April 2015 and a board member at Quest Academy, a technology-focused school, from 2006 to April 2024. Prior to current roles, Kersey-Smith held various positions at Roy High School, including Mathematics Department Chairman and Key Club Advisor, contributing to high rankings in accreditation processes and notable achievements in cheerleading competitions. Additional experience includes teaching high school mathematics for over three decades, serving as a Guest Service Missionary, instructing skiing, and coaching high school softball. Kersey-Smith holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and an Administration Endorsement, along with a background in English and Political Science from Weber State University.
