Rod Belnap has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director and Human Resources Director for Weber School District since May 2017. Previously, Rod held positions as Principal at Fremont High School and Sand Ridge Junior High School, as well as Assistant Principal at North Ogden Junior High School and Weber High School. Rod began a career in education as a Teacher at Roy High School and Bonneville High School, focusing on English and Business/Marketing. Rod's academic credentials include a PhD from the University of Utah, a Certification of Educational Administration from Idaho State University, a Master's degree from Utah State University, and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Secondary Education from Weber State University and Colorado Mesa University, along with an Associate's degree from Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah.

Weber School District
Weber School District is located 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Utah shadowed by the majestic and beautiful Wasatch Front mountain range. They encompass all of Weber County with the exception of Ogden City. Campuses house four high schools, nine junior high schools and 29 elementary schools as well as special needs and alternative programs. Most students reside in suburban areas although many areas of the district would still be classified as rural. With over 30,000 students Weber School District is the 5th largest in Utah.
