Matt Dacanay

Matt Dacanay is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and development. Currently serving as a Product Design Mechanical Engineer at Weber LLC since April 2021, Matt previously worked at Cummins Allison from February 2018 to April 2021 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where significant contributions included the development of over 20 subsystems for sorting machines and leading a team to resolve critical issues in a teller cash recycler. Prior experience also includes a Design Engineer position at IMI Cornelius, where approximately 40% of new components for next-generation beverage dispensers were designed, and an engineering internship at MacLean Power Systems. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
