Alex Ellis

Alex Ellis has a range of experience in software engineering and web development. They started their career in 2012 as a Web Developer and Graphic Designer at Trillium Organics, where they managed content for the company's eCommerce website and created graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. In 2013, they worked as a Web Designer and Developer at ACE Designs, providing creative services such as custom designs, web development, and creative consulting. They then joined TravelClick as a Lead Web Developer, where they led and collaborated with development teams on web projects and managed interdepartmental communications. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer III at Entegral, responsible for coordinating the adoption of a new tech stack and developing web applications. They joined AkitaBox in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, writing code for Angular and React web applications and mentoring junior developers. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Zendesk, developing full stack web applications, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as a tech lead for multiple teams. Currently, they hold the position of Staff Software Engineer at Webflow.

Alex Ellis attended Northern Illinois University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies.
