Charles Dunbar

Charles Dunbar has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Charles is currently working at Webflow as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Prior to that, they held the same role at Procore Technologies until December 2021. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Dwolla as a Senior Software/DevOps Engineer. In 2018, Charles was a Cloud Reliability Engineer at Canonical Ltd. Before that, they spent several years at Puppet, starting as a Support Engineer in 2012, then transitioning to a Technical Operations Engineer in 2013, and finally becoming a Senior Site Reliability Engineer from 2014 to 2018. In 2011, they worked as a Linux System Administrator II at Rackspace Hosting, where they provided support to enterprise-level customers and developed scripts for automation. Charles also gained experience as a Managed Support Technician at Layered Technologies from 2010 to 2011 and as a Systems Administrator at NewLink Genetics from 2007 to 2010. Charles started their career at Iowa State University, working in the Student Support Group of the Registrar's Office from 2005 to 2006.

Charles Dunbar attended Iowa State University from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Information Assurance. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications such as CCNA from Cisco in April 2012 and RHCE RHEL 6 from Red Hat Linux in January 2012.
