Olena Sovyn

Olena Sovyn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Olena began their career as a Consultant of QMS at The European Center of Quality Management and Food Hygiene "Lilia" Ltd. in 2009. Olena then pursued a PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv while also working as a Teacher. After completing their PhD in 2012, Olena worked as a PR and Event Manager at ELEKS Software for a few months. Olena then became a Marketing Specialist at Mockup Builder in 2013. In 2014, Olena joined Auslogics Software Pty Ltd as a Content Marketer, where they developed resources for traffic generation. Later in 2014, they became a Front-end Developer at EPAM Systems, where they worked on e-commerce projects, developed components, and created responsive markups. In 2016, Olena joined LifeWorks - Employee Engagement Platform as a Front-end Engineer, where they successfully delivered new functionalities and created customized UI components. Since 2017, they have been working at Webflow, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and currently serving as a Technical Lead. Throughout their career, Olena has demonstrated proficiency in various programming languages, libraries, and methodologies.

Olena Sovyn completed their education at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. From 2000 to 2004, they pursued studies in Physics, Mathematics, Informatics, and English. Olena then went on to attain an MSc degree in Chemistry from the same university, completing their studies from 2004 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Olena obtained a certification in "Managing the Company of the Future" from the University of London through Coursera in March 2015. Olena also received a certification in "Social Psychology" from Coursera in September 2013. Additionally, they completed a course titled "Real-time Web with Node.js" from Code School, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
