Omavi Walker has had a diverse work experience. Omavi started their career as an IT Contractor at Chartway Federal Credit Union in May 2013 and worked there until July 2013. Omavi then worked as a System Administrator and IT Contractor at Utility Scale Computing from January 2012 to August 2013. In March 2014, they worked as a Project Assistant at Virginia Tech for a period of three months. From June 2014 to August 2014, they worked as an At-Home Advisor at Apple, where they provided phone support for Apple's iOS devices and software. From September 2014 to December 2014, they worked as a Data Reductionist at Virginia Tech, where they observed and documented driver behavior and driving conditions for transportation research projects. In January 2015, they worked as an IT Support at Virginia Tech for a period of seven months. From July 2015 to May 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Engagement Specialist at Virginia Tech, where they helped professors transfer their courses to a new learning management system and communicated TLOS information to students. From August 2016 to January 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Brightspot. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Webflow, starting from February 2022.
