Bill Gonzalez

Bill Gonzalez has a diverse range of work experience. Bill is currently the Founder of Quantum Realm Computing, a position they have held since November 2021. Before that, Bill worked at Webhead: We Do IT For You! as the CIO, where they oversaw a data center installation project and managed various tasks such as fiber optic cable installation, server rack installation, fiber optic termination services, and testing trunks using a Fluke tester. Bill started their tenure at Webhead in November 1994.

Bill also worked as a Sharepoint Architect for JIOWC from February 2009 to September 2012 and for USACE G2 Intelligence Division from March 2010 to July 2012. In these roles, they provided primary SharePoint support, managed configuration and installation of SharePoint servers, and assisted end users.

Before that, Bill was a Web Developer at USAA from July 1997 to January 2001, where they developed the USAA Internet website transactional pages and change management software. Bill also worked as a Web Developer at Globalscape, Inc. from November 1996 to March 1997, where they performed HTML coding, CGI, C++, Java programming, and image manipulation.

Earlier in their career, Bill served as a Department Systems Specialist at San Antonio Public Library from November 1995 to November 1996, maintaining library automation services, installing and configuring a test web server, and designing and maintaining the library's website. Bill also worked as a Computer Operator at Metropolitan Hospital from January 1993 to May 1995, responsible for data entry and transmission, as well as hardware and software installation for the hospital network during an upgrade.

Bill Gonzalez has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Bill is currently pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the same institution, with an expected completion date in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in December 2019, and various certifications in the field of Quantum Computing from institutions such as MIT xPRO and QWorld.
