Markus Michels

Markus Michels has held various roles throughout their work experience. Markus started their career in 1997 at Gemini Consulting as a Senior Manager. Markus then worked at Deutsche Post DHL Inhouse Consulting as an Associate Partner. Following this, they held the position of Principal at Trecon Management Consulting and Value Partner, before becoming an Associate Principal at CRA International. In 2012, Markus became the Managing Director at For Life GmbH. Markus then moved on to DMW GmbH, where they served as the Managing Director. Later, they joined WebID Solutions GmbH as the COO and Director Labour Relations. Markus took a sabbatical in 2017 to work on private projects. Markus then returned to WebID in 2019, assuming the role of Director Strategy.

Markus Michels began their education journey at RWTH Aachen University, where they pursued a Pre-Diploma and Diploma in Engineering from 1990 to 1993. Following that, they attended The University of Auckland from 1994 to 1995, focusing on Engineering and Applied Physics, although they did not obtain a degree during this time. Moving forward, Markus pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering and Applied Physics at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1996 to 1997.
