Igor Stepanov

Igor Stepanov has a diverse work experience. Igor started their career in 2012 as the CRM Manager at FORUS Bank. In the same year, they became the Manager of Analytical Marketing at Volsky Biochem. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at МегаФон in various roles, starting as an Expert in Client Analytics and ending as the Head of Client Analytics. From 2019 to 2020, they were the ML Team Lead at Uptick Labs, Inc., leading a team of 5 and managing predictive, classification and segmentation model development and production. Since 2020, they have been the Head of CS Analytics at Авито, leading a team of 10 analysts and engaging in time series modeling, predictive analytics, reporting key business and operational metrics, creating and sustaining datamarts, supporting new features and products launch, strategy development, budgeting, scheduling shifts, and more. Igor is currently the Head of BI at Webinar.

Igor Stepanov has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematical Methods in Economics & Finance from the State University - Higher School of Economics, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Igor then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Methods in Analysis of Economics & Finance from the same university between 2010 and 2012. Igor also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing/Strategic Management from the University of Antwerp between 2010 and 2011. Additionally, they have obtained two edX Honor Code Certificates, one for Behavioural Economics in Action in December 2014 and one for Learning From Data (introductory Machine Learning course) in December 2014.
