Brunilda Nazario

Lead Medical Director at WebMD

Brunilda Nazario, MD, is the Lead Medical Director at WebMD. She works with WebMD's network of expert doctors and health care professionals where she shares her goals, vision, and the challenges faced in helping to develop an educational and successful learning experience for WebMD's readers. She is responsible for reviewing WebMD content and ensuring its accuracy, timeliness, and credibility.

A "culture of caring" and cultural competency are prime components of her practice of medicine. She works in the unique environment of telemedicine that allows patients access to her medical expertise quickly, efficiently, and without travel.

She is a board-certified internist and endocrinologist and is certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. She is a diplomate for the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the Chairperson for The Obesity Society's Latin American Association Section. She has also completed a training program in alternative health and integrative medicine.

She is a delegate for the Global Wellness Submit, which helps empower wellness through preventative health and wellness.
