Leah Metcalf Gentry is the Group Vice President, Content, in charge of news and features for the WebMD family of brands. She oversees U.S. and global teams of editors, writers, physicians, and content creators who cover the full spectrum of medical specialties and related topics to keep readers up to date on medical research, health, and wellness.

An award-winning editor, Gentry has led journalists and content organizations at major media companies including the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, the New York Times Regional Group, and The Orange County Register, as well as Fortune 50 companies and startups.

She earned her bachelor of science degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and her MBA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
