Gary Guo is a seasoned software development professional with extensive expertise in architecting and developing large-scale security data processing systems. Currently serving as Development Manager for the Big Data Platform at Webroot since February 2013, Gary specializes in threat insight platforms, real-time analytics, and reporting solutions on AWS. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Software Engineer at Wave Systems Corp., where significant contributions were made in secure storage solutions and virtualization technologies, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Symantec Corp. and NetIQ, focusing on internet security and server monitoring solutions. Gary began a career in engineering management at US Information Technologies Corporation, building a foundation in software engineering with earlier roles at companies such as Chuckwalla, Inc. and Pixera Corporation. Gary holds a Master of Arts degree in Computer Science from New York University.
