Jukka Dahlbom

Jukka Dahlbom has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jukka started their career at Mermit Business Applications Oy, where they worked as a Software Specialist from August 2005 to April 2007. Jukka then joined Ixonos as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Qt + QML mobile development and version controlled document management system development from 2008 to 2010. Following that, Jukka worked at Houston Inc. as a Senior Consultant, where they took on various roles such as Scrum Master and lead developer. Jukka'snotable accomplishment during this time was developing and releasing the fully integrated ad sales online store for Helsingin Sanomat. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Key Account Manager at Houston Inc., responsible for managing media and e-commerce customers, particularly the HS.fi project portfolio. Jukka's most recent position is at Webscale Oy, where they have held two significant roles. Jukka first served as CEO and Software Architect from August 2013 to February 2020, leading the development and design of AWS-based distributed cloud architectures. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Data Engineering and VP since February 2020.

Jukka Dahlbom completed their MSc in Electrical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2000 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Helsingin Matematiikkalukio from 1997 to 2000 and obtained their Ylioppilas degree. Jukka also holds various certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Sun Certified Java Developer, and Certified Scrum Master. These certifications were obtained from Amazon Web Services, Sun Microsystems, and Scrum Alliance between 2008 and 2015.
