Morgan Athey has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Corn Pollinator at DuPont Pioneer for a year. In 2016, they were employed at Daylight Donuts as a Cashier for the summer. They then attended Simpson College, where they held various positions including Student Ambassador, Copy Editor for The Simpsonian, and Advertising Director for Student Media between 2016 and 2019.
In 2017, Morgan worked as an intern at Algona Publishing Co. The following year, they interned as a Communications Intern at the Iowa Conference of the United Methodist Church. In 2018, they joined Meredith Corporation as a Corporate Communications Intern.
Moving forward, Morgan joined Webspec in 2019 as a Proposal Writer. They later worked as a Content & SEO Coordinator and then a Content & SEO Strategist until 2022. By 2022, they assumed the role of Marketing & Communications Specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Digital Marketing Account Lead at Webspec since 2023.
Morgan Athey attended Bishop Garrigan High School from an unspecified start year up until 2015. Following high school, Morgan pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations at Simpson College from 2015 to 2019.
