James Platto has a diverse background in the entertainment industry, showcasing extensive experience in merchandise management and event support. Currently employed as a Merchandise Team Member with Live Nation Entertainment since July 2021 and at Trifecta Merchandising since October 2023, James supports events at notable venues like Barclays Center and UBS Arena. Additional responsibilities include working as a Production Assistant for Brooklyn Made Presents, and serving as a VIP Assistant and Usher for VIP Nation at Irving Plaza and Gramercy Theatre. James has also gained valuable skills as a Stagehand with IATSE Local-1 at Webster Hall and in guest services as a Box Office Line Control Attendant at Jujamcyn Theaters. Earlier experiences include support roles with Junior Mintt Inc. and bartending at 3 Dollar Bill. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media from Hunter College, earned from 2017 to 2021.

Webster Hall
Webster Hall is a landmark nightclub, event space, and concert venue, located at 125 E. 11th Street in Manhattan's East Village. Built in 1886, it was re-opened by the Ballinger Brothers in 1992. The building hosts over half a million visitors each year. Webster Hall contains five distinct rooms: the Grand Ballroom (nightclub and major touring acts); the Studio at Webster Hall (performance space and recording studio for major touring acts); The Marlin Room (flexible performance and nightclub space); the VIP lounge; and the Draft House sports bar. In 1950s & 60s Webster Hall was the RCA recording studio where Elvis, Sinatra, Dylan, Ray Charles, and Tony Bennett all recorded; in the 1980s it was known as The Ritz which hosted Tina Turner, Clapton, Beastie Boys, Guns & Roses, U2 and many of the new wave giants of the day; the building was re-opened as Webster Hall two decades ago with such talent as Madonna, Mick Jagger, Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, Prince; and in the last few years alone such talent as Adele, Black Keys, Lady Gaga, Jack White, and Green Day have graced the stages of Webster Hall.
