Jimmy Crucerey

Jimmy Crucerey has a strong background in IT management and engineering. Jimmy began their career as a Trainee Network Engineer at Polestar Interactive Ltd in 2007 and then moved on to become a Systems Engineer at Cerner Corporation. In 2008, they joined G-Research as a SQL Database Administrator and later transitioned into a Systems Engineer role where they provided support for traders, developers, and executives in a high-frequency trading environment. Jimmy also took on the responsibility of managing the backup infrastructure and developed a monitoring platform. After a career break in 2013 for cultural exploration and scuba diving certifications, Jimmy joined PSideo SA as a Systems Engineer. In 2017, they started working at Webster University, initially as an IT Manager and then progressed to become the Director of Global IT Services and finally the Director of Global Technology and Infrastructure. In these roles, they were responsible for setting IT policy strategies, managing budgets and contracts, and identifying IT needs. Jimmy also led engineering efforts to improve security and efficiency by implementing various technologies and solutions. Additionally, they worked on classroom redesign for hybrid teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic and provided faculty training on IT solutions implementation. Jimmy also served as a Data Privacy Manager at Webster University before leaving in 2022. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong skills in Microsoft environments, networking, virtualization, and security.

Jimmy Crucerey obtained a Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Physics from Lycée l'Oiselet in 2002. Jimmy then pursued a DUT in Telecommunications and Networks at Université Pierre Mendès France from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they earned a Masters Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications and Networks from Télécom Saint-Etienne. In 2006-2007, they also obtained a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from ISEAG-IAE. Jimmy has additional certifications in various fields, including GDPR Foundation, Administering SQL Server 2012 Databases, MCITP Database Administrator 2008, MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance, and Cisco CCNA Academy Accreditation.
