Patrick Giblin

Patrick Giblin has a strong background in public relations and journalism. Patrick began their career as an Assistant Public Information Officer at the California Department of Justice in 1989, where they gained experience in media relations, organizing press conferences, and publishing newsletters. In 1990, they worked as a Reporter/Editor for the Manteca News, where they wrote and edited stories, designed the news section, and took photos. Patrick then joined the Modesto Bee in 1991 as a Reporter, specializing in crime coverage and gaining recognition for their work on the Laci Peterson case. In 2006, they transitioned to the University of the Pacific as a Public Relations Manager, handling various PR responsibilities until 2013. Since 2013, they have been serving as the Director of Public Relations at Webster University.

Patrick Giblin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information and Communication Studies and International Relations from California State University, Chico in the years 1984 to 1989. Patrick later pursued a Master's degree in Communications at the University of the Pacific from 2008 to 2011.
