Elaine K. Ficarra

Elaine K. Ficarra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as Managing Director and Vice President at Webster Bank since December 2017, Elaine has held prominent positions including Executive Director of The Barnum Festival from March 2014 to September 2016, where the 67th annual celebration of P.T. Barnum took place. Previous roles include Director of Communications for the Mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut, from September 2008 to March 2014, and Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the International Festival of Arts & Ideas from January 2006 to August 2008. Elaine's career began as a general assignment reporter at The Patriot Ledger, advancing through various editorial roles at the Connecticut Post, where Elaine served as Features Editor. Elaine holds a B.A. in Journalism from Northeastern University, awarded in 1980.
