James Kowats

James Kowats is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and commercial lending. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Webster Bank since October 2021, James previously held various leadership roles, including Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Connecticut Community Bank, N.A., and Vice President at both Greenwich Bank & Trust and InsurBanc. With a career that began in 1999 as a Portfolio Analyst at Westport Resources Investment Services, James has developed a strong background in finance through positions at several reputable institutions including TD Bank and Willow Capital Group. James holds an MBA in Real Estate and a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
