John Amodeo

John Amodeo has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. John currently holds the position of Executive Managing Director and Head of Business Banking at Webster Bank since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sterling National Bank, where they held various roles including Segment Leader - Business Banking, Regional Director of Business Banking, Regional Managing Director, and Area Managing Director from 2017 to 2020. Before joining Sterling National Bank, John worked at KeyBank as an Area Retail Leader in 2016 and at First Niagara Bank as a Senior Area Manager-First Vice President from 2012 to 2016. John also worked at HSBC as a VP-Cluster Manager from 2011 to 2012 and as a Cluster Manager/Vice President from 1986 to 2008. In addition, John held the position of SVP Sales at Venio LLC from 2008 to 2011, where they were responsible for developing corporate banking and insurance industry sales and services, managing client relationships, and maximizing revenue potential through cross-selling.

John Amodeo attended the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in GSRBM (Graduate Studies in Retail Banking Management) with a focus on Banking and Financial Support Services.
