Melissa Stunkel

Melissa Stunkel has a diverse work experience. Melissa started their career in 2010 at Webster Bank, where they held various roles and responsibilities. Melissa began as a Deposit Ops Coordinator and later got promoted to Lead Deposit Ops Coordinator. Melissa'stasks in this position included managing and analyzing cash levels for banking centers and ensuring production and Service Level Agreements were met. Melissa then moved on to become a Systems Analyst and was eventually promoted to Lead Systems Analyst. In these roles, they acted as an internal client liaison, providing business and technical expertise for defining new and existing functions of current systems. Melissa currently works at Webster Bank as the VP Managing Director and Product Owner for Enterprise Systems. Outside of Webster Bank, they worked as an Office Assistant at Dupont Business Archives, where they provided customer service and worked in a fast-paced environment. Melissa also worked as a Writing Intern at Eastern Connecticut State University, where they were responsible for writing the monthly newsletter, conducting student interviews, and writing career-based articles for the university newspaper.

Melissa Stunkel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Eastern Connecticut State University, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe® 6 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2023, Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2020, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in September 2017, and ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT.
