Robert Twomey

Robert Twomey has extensive experience in the banking industry, currently serving as President of the Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts Region at Webster Bank since July 2005. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Senior Vice President at Bank of America from 2004 to 2005 and served as Senior Vice President at FleetBoston Financial (Bank of America) from 1974 to 2004. Earlier in Robert's career, service in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant (junior grade) included roles as a Nuclear Weapons Supply Officer and Food Service Officer from 1970 to 1972. Robert's educational background includes an MBA in Accounting and Finance from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (1972-1974) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College (1965-1969).
