Shawn Ginés

Shawn Ginés has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shawn started their career in the US Army, where they served as an Infantry Army Officer and led strategic military operations globally. Afterward, they worked at Metro-North Railroad as an Operations Manager, overseeing a diverse workforce and implementing continuous improvement processes.

Shawn then transitioned to the financial sector, first at GE Capital as an Associate Leveraged Finance, then as an Underwriter & Credit/Associate, and later as an Assistant Vice President in Leverage Finance/Corp. Finance. In these roles, they specialized in providing private equity sponsors with lending facilities and evaluating financial performance.

Shawn further advanced their career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Vice President and later as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking. During this time, they acquired and managed commercial banking clients, specializing in alternative financial strategies and solutions for lower middle market companies.

Shawn's most recent position was at Webster Bank, where they served as a Senior Managing Director; Group Head in Middle Market Banking & Sponsor Finance and later as the Regional President for Middle Market Banking & Leveraged Finance. In these roles, they drove strategic initiatives, fostered growth, and cultivated strong relationships with clients to address their financial needs.

Shawn Ginés holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Shawn also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from the University at Albany, SUNY. Additionally, they completed a program at the Investment Banking Institute in 1999.
