Miki Kinoshita

Miki Kinoshita is a background artist currently working at WEBTOON since January 2024, focusing on creating semi-realistic backgrounds for the Webtoon Originals series, Murder Girlband, while managing to design over 40 panels weekly in a fast-paced environment. In addition to this role, Miki serves as an art instructor at art/work/place since September 2023, developing lesson plans and guiding young students in drawing, painting, and sketching. Previous experience includes a background designer position at Asians in Animation from January to April 2025, where Miki designed background layouts using 3D models, and a teaching assistant role at ArtCenter College of Design from January 2022 to April 2023, supporting students in the Creative Perspective and Color and Design courses. Miki's early career features an internship at Chef Koochooloo, contributing to website redesign and social media graphics. Miki holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design and has prior education from Pratt Institute.
