Won Hur

Won Hur serves as the Deputy General Counsel at WEBTOON since April 2022, where responsibilities include leading legal efforts for day-to-day operations and major transactions across multiple teams such as content, production, and marketing. Previously, Won Hur held the position of Advisor to the Executive Team and EVP, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Autonomy, overseeing legal strategies and business transactions from March 2021 to April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as SVP, Deputy General Counsel at Fair.com, managing commercial transactions, and serving as Corporate Counsel at Westlake Financial Services, supporting a variety of commercial contracts. Won Hur's legal career began as Counsel at Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang and Waimey, advising Global 500 companies on transactional matters. Educational background includes a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. with Highest Honors in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
