Fedele Basso has significant experience in engineering and project management, having worked as a Senior Project Engineer and Technical Design Manager at Webuild from January 2014 to December 2019, where involvement included a project for the Nykirke–Barkåker double-track railway. Prior to this, Fedele served as a Civil and Structural Design Coordinator at Coopsette from April 2008 to July 2013. Fedele earned a Laurea from the Università degli Studi di Napoli 'Federico II' between 1999 and 2007 and attended Liceo Scientifico for earlier education.
