Aurèle de Bosset

Co-Founder & COO at WECHEER

Aurèle de Bosset has extensive work experience in the engineering and project management fields. From 2016 to present, they have been a Co-Founder & COO at WECHEER.IO, where they have scaled the organization to 35 team members, managed operations in Switzerland, Vietnam, Brazil & Romania, and lead the team to design, develop and manufacture a patented IoT smart bottle opener. In 2016, they were also the Founder & Project Management Consultant at one less sàrl, where they developed a four wheel braking solution for rollators, filed two patents, produced multiple functional prototypes, conducted user & usability testing, and made sales pitches for resale to rollator manufacturers. Additionally, they were an ad interim Project Manager at Nestlé Waters in 2016, where they prepared a ~25 million CHF project credit request and aligned stakeholders across the organization. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Co-Founder at blunom, where they built all the business processes, managed supplier relationships, acquired new customers, conducted sales visits, managed accounting, and handled cost optimization & negotiation and legal matters. From 2008 to 2014, they were employed at Nestlé in various roles, including Engineering Specialist, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Process Engineer Trainee. In these roles, they prepared and submitted a Project Management Plan with an initial team of three, managed the construction of a 1200m2 training center, was responsible for the final close-out of a previous project, was responsible for three process areas with 11 million CHF budget and three engineers, developped engineering standards, was involved in TPM/EM pilot, and was responsible for the design, ordering and installation of a coffee aroma extraction system.

Aurèle de Bosset obtained an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Royal St. George's College between 1998 and 2003. Aurèle then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2003 and 2006. Following that, they earned a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, Aurèle de Bosset attended Sterling Hall School. In addition, Aurèle de Bosset obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2016.
