Lynn Wehrman

Lynn Wehrman has been working in the field of accessibility since 2006. Lynn began their career at the State of Minnesota, where they served as an Accessible Communications Specialist and Federal Program Coordinator for the Department of Transportation. In their role as Accessible Communications Specialist, they created internal training for project managers, document authors and communications staff regarding making websites and documents accessible in accordance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act and related legislation. Lynn also established the accessible document workflow process currently used by the Department of Transportation and emulated by other State of Minnesota agencies. In their role as Federal Program Coordinator, they coordinated Minnesota's Rural Transit Assistance Program on behalf of the Federal Transit Administration. Her achievements in this role included more than doubling the number of grant recipients the program trained in two years. In 2011, Wehrman founded Digital Accessibility by WeCo, where they serve as President and Founder. In this role, they oversee business and product development, as well as company directors, and fosters and manages a growing network of partnerships.

Lynn Wehrman received an Associate of Arts degree in Communications from Golden Valley Lutheran College in 2018. Lynn is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in English Liberal Arts and Professional Writing from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
