Michael Pearce, CPA

Michael Pearce, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael is currently the Chief Financial Officer at WeConvene, a cloud-based meetings and events management platform for the capital markets community. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of Finance at WeConvene, where they played a key role in establishing and expanding the organization.

Before joining WeConvene, Michael worked at Whip Media Group, where they held two positions - Vice President of Finance (Whip Media) and Vice President of Finance (Mediamorph). In these roles, they were responsible for post-acquisition integration, investor relations, board reporting, and revenue and gross margin improvements. Michael'sefforts resulted in successful acquisition, tripled recurring revenue, and doubled recurring revenue gross margin percentages.

Michael gained experience at Warner Music Group as an Associate Director of Finance, leading the digital revenue recognition process and managing budgeting and FP&A for digital revenue. Prior to that, they worked at Ernst & Young, LLP as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services, where they performed quality of earnings analysis and worked with clients on critical investment theses.

Michael's earlier experience includes working at The Seam, LLC as a Controller and Director of Administration, where they led finance and accounting functions, integrated trading and accounting systems, and negotiated credit facilities. Michael also worked as a Senior in Assurance Services at Ernst & Young, LLP, leading audit teams for prestigious clients.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated strong financial expertise, strategic leadership, and a track record of improving financial performance and managing complex projects.

Michael Pearce, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance at The University of Memphis. Michael pursued their education from 1999 to 2004. In February 2007, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, although the institution from which they obtained it is unknown.
