John Villalobos

John Villalobos is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in both public accounting and corporate finance. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Wedbush Securities since April 2020, John previously worked at Deloitte as a Senior Audit Associate, where responsibilities included leading substantive testing for revenue recognition in compliance with ASC standards for clients in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications, and Consumer Business industries. Additional roles include a Tax Consultant at Deloitte, Intake Specialist at The Bookstein Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, and various positions within the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. John also held leadership positions during education at California State University, Northridge, including Controller and Executive Coordinator for the CSUN Accounting Association. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2016.
