Laura started their career in 1993 as a Television News Producer at KARE 11, where they successfully launched the first 2-hour live weekend morning news program in the United States. Laura was responsible for all aspects of the show, including news content, interviews, live shots, and breaking news.

In 1996, Laura transitioned to a sales role as an Account Executive Integrated Media Sales at KARE 11, where they worked for 16 years. Laura consistently achieved or surpassed budget goals and quotas, demonstrating their strong skills in advertising sales, cross-promotional campaigns, digital advertising, marketing strategy implementation, and social media marketing.

Most recently, Laura worked as a Marketing Specialist at Wedding Day Diamonds since 2013. In this role, they supported the strategic marketing and brand building initiatives of the local jewelry business. As a marketing manager and media buyer, they contributed to the growth of the brand, which now has 9 locations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
