Pharm.d. Bcmas Melissa Wike

Melissa Wike, Pharm.D. BCMAS has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Melissa began their career as a Pharmacy Intern at Safeway from August 2008 to September 2010. Melissa then worked as a Pharmacy Intern at RITE AID from November 2007 to August 2011, during which they also had a brief stint as a Pharmacist in December 2011. Mellissa joined CVS Health in December 2013 as a Pharmacy Manager and held the position until May 2018. Melissa then transitioned to Wedgewood Communications, where they served as a Medical Writer from May 2018 to December 2019. Melissa progressively moved up within the company, becoming a Senior Medical Writer from December 2019 to January 2021, an Associate Scientific Director from January 2021 to January 2022, and currently holds the position of Scientific Director.

Melissa Wike, Pharm.D. BCMAS completed their education from 2005 to 2011 at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in the field of Pharmacy. In 2018, they received certification as a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA). Additionally, in May 2011, they obtained CPR/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross.
