Pierre Penninckx

Pierre Penninckx is a Full Stack Senior Engineer at WEDO since October 2024, with extensive experience in software engineering. Previously, Pierre held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Fastly from February 2019 to September 2024, focusing on enhancing testing methodologies and optimizing continuous integration processes. Prior to that, Pierre served as a Senior Backend Engineer at System1 from January 2016 to February 2019, where leadership in payment workflow automation and ETL reporting was key. Pierre began a career at Spacebel from April 2013 to October 2015 as a Software Engineer, developing GUIs for control center automation. Pierre's professional journey started as a Junior Functional Developer at Sopra Banking Software in late 2012. Pierre holds a Master of Applied Science in Industrial Processes and Mechatronics and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electromechanical Civil Engineering, both from Université libre de Bruxelles.
