Kelli Serio

Kelli Serio has a wealth of experience in the marketing and digital media fields. Kelli began their career in 2011 as an intern at the Hillsborough County Extension Office, where they established, organized, promoted, and facilitated a week-long money management camp for teens. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor for Girl's Place, Inc., an all-girls afterschool, summer camp, and sports facility. Kelli then worked as a Welcome Center Representative for both YMCA Camp Cristina and Campo Family YMCA, where they were the first point of contact for patrons and presented tours to potential members. Kelli also managed YMCA Camp Cristina's social media outlets, updating the organization's Twitter, Facebook, and website with pertinent information. In 2014, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Administrator for DDS Lab, LLC and as an Office Manager for HiDef and Appliance Doctor. In 2015, they worked as a Certified Healthcare Navigator for Pinellas County Human Services. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator for DDS Lab, LLC and from 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Digital Engagement Specialist and Marketing Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. Currently, they are the Digital Media Manager for WEDU PBS.

Kelli Serio obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Family Youth and Community Science from the University of Florida in 2012. In 2015, they obtained their Certified Marketplace Navigator from the United States Department of Health and Human Services. In 2020, they earned their Certificate in Fund Development Fundamentals from the Nonprofit Leadership Center. Finally, in 2021, they received their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
